Our course aims to assist your team in developing skills in identifying, controlling and treating weeds using a range of techniques.

The course includes the following units of competency that are Nationally Recognised Training;

  1. AHCPCM204 Recognise Plants
  2. AHCPMG301 Control Weeds
  3. AHCCHM304 Transport and store chemicals
  4. AHCCHM307 Prepare and apply chemicals to control pests, weeds and diseases

 

Delivery Methods

We can provide you opportunity to learn the theory online and reduce the course to 2 days of practical. 

Or join our classroom based learning for a 5 day interactive course including tutorials, theory and practical.

On successful completion of the 5 Day course you will receive a Statement of Attainment certifying your completion of the National Recognised Training. 

  • AHCPCM204 Recognise Plants
  • AHCPMG301 Control Weeds
  • AHCCHM304 Transport and store chemicals
  • AHCCHM307 Prepare and apply chemicals to control pests, weeds and diseases

 

Successful applicants will be able to apply for their Agriculture Chemical Users Permit (ACUP) in Victoria once they have acheived their Statement of Attainment.

We provide theory training in our offices which are located at either;

  • Norwood Industries, 6 Wedgewood Road, Hallm VIC 3803
  • Seeds Bushland Restoration, 52 Western Port Highway Sommerville VIC 3913

 

For our practical location, our Trainers and Assessors take you hands on and out into the field to apply your knowledge and skills formation.

We provide group training that tailors the training to suit your organisational needs.

We offer to train your staff in the correct use and technique with your equipment which will assist in minimising health and safety risks within the workplace.

Being professionally trained will aid in you ensuring your team keeps on top of industry requirements

Our team can assist you in identifying if you have acheived Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or are eligible for Credit Transfer (CT) for units of competency in the Weed Management Course.
