The EWP Rescue and Escape is from the

 Course as an add on to the Core Package and is inline with the VESI and ESI mandatory requirements for initial training for a person wishing to work as a Cutter from an Elevated Work Platform (EWP).

We deliver this course through one day of Theory and one day of hands on Practical 

Pre-Requisite Unit of Competency (UoC)

• HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

and

• UEECD0007 Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace

or

• TLILIC0005 Licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more)

Course Outcomes

On successful completion of the 1/2-Day course you will receive a Statement of Attainment certifying your completion of the National Recognised Training. 

• UETDRMP004 - Perform elevated work platform controlled descent escape 
• UETDRRF002 - Perform EWP rescue

Training Locations

ESI EWP Cutter Course will provide you with access to our e-learning portal.

You can complete your theory anytime anywhere. You don't have to sit in a classroom!

You will be able to access our Trainers and Assessors through the e-learning portal.

We offer LLN support to help guide you through your learning journey with us. 

Once you have finished your theory you will automatically sent a notification of the Practical Day training location. 

Practical Location

Our Trainers and Assessors take you hands on out into the field to apply your knowledge and form your skills in cutting safely from an EWP.

Group Bookings

We provide group training that tailors the training to suit your organisational needs.

We offer to train your staff in the correct use and technique with your equipment which will assist in minimising health and safety risks within the workplace.

Being professionally trained in cutting vegetation from an EWP in an ESI environment for staff who work on chainsaws helps minimise the risk of injury and promotes positive work outcomes in maintaining equipment
