This qualification describes the skills and knowledge for trade level roles in the arboriculture industry, including, climbing arborist, EWP arborist, crane specialist, environmental arborist and an arborist works coordinator.
Individuals with this qualification perform a range of arboriculture activities including, shaping and canopy management, tree health and remediation, environmental and habitat development, to tree dismantling and removal. The work involves high risk operations either working at heights or conducting support works to individuals working above ground. Work practices operate within a strict safety regime to protect workers and public.
Legislation, regulations and by-laws relating to the treatment and removal of trees apply in some States and Territories.

The cost of the Certificate III in Arboriculture ranges from $3500 for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to $10,500.00 for an Apprenticeship Pathway.

This is a terrific spin on the traditional apprenticeship delivery for Medium to Large Organisations who would like to train five (5) or more employees in AHC30820 Certificate III in Arboriculture.
The climbing elective stream includes one intensive week with our trainers to deliver the practical sklls formation.
Students will receive a logbook to record their climbing hours under supervision and will have a final competency practical observation booked in with the trainer when they are ready to complete their final assessment.

Practical Skills Formation is an important part of your learning journey so we take you off site to apply your skills under the safe direction of your Trainer and Assessor. Our Theory Training Rooms are designed for comfort and easy access so that you can sit back and tune in to what the Trainers are guiding you through using our Projector along with each student receiving a copy of the Workbook so that you can easily keep track and follow along.
Our Training Room has access to DNA Trainings Student Wi-Fi so that you can go online in the Learner Portal to read through the digital Workbook at any time and complete your written assessments.
